Program Description:

Corporate Securities Administration covers in detail the responsibilities and tasks associated with acting as a fiduciary of debt security issuances.

After successfully completing this course, the student will be able to:

  • Recognize the tasks associated with acting as a fiduciary of debt security issuances
  • Identify the trustee’s duties in administering TIA qualified issues
  • Understand the different types of municipal structured financings
  • Know the purposes of asset-backed financings, and the trustee’s duties
  • Understand leverage-leased financing, and the duties of a trustee in a leveraged-lease transaction
  • Understand how the management of the trust and agency operations by a corporate trustee gives direction and continuity
