Program Description:
This course will help participants develop the skills needed to lead a team to accomplishing its goals. Participants will learn a variety of techniques for coaching, motivating, and managing. Participants who complete this course and the Banking Today course will receive the AIB Team Leader Certificate.
After successfully completing this course, you will be able to:
- Identify appropriate professional behavior and use basic guidelines to enhance professional relationships
- Recognize a coaching opportunity and provide ongoing performance feedback
- Use non-monetary and small-dollar-value awards to recognize, reward, and motivate employees toward continued and improved performance
- Effectively lead meetings and use them as opportunities to communicate, solve problems, and make decisions
- Employ techniques for identifying opportunities for productivity improvement
- Write effective correspondence using a four-step process
- Understand the change process, employee reactions to change, and use tools to manage change
Who Should Attend:
This course is designed for bank personnel who direct the daily work of others, whether or not they have direct supervisory responsibility for those people.
