Program Description:
This seminar has been developed out of necessity! Regulatory compliance is an area of significant risk potential for your bank and each individual lender. However, lenders tend to take a somewhat “cavalier” attitude and perspective with regard to a wide variety of compliance issues.
This fast and fun seminar will present up-to-date information and requirements on compliance topics that have been shown to be frequent “mistakes” by lenders. Topics to be discussed have been chosen from regulator reports of violation frequency, most frequently asked questions in seminars, and the instructor’s nationwide teaching experience.
What You Will Learn:
- Equal Credit Opportunity Act (Reg B)
- RESPA
- Truth in Lending (Reg Z)
- Flood Insurance
- Environmental Risk/Liability
- Appraisal Regulations
- HMDA
