Program Description:
A large portion of commercial loans include real estate as either primary or secondary collateral and because of this all commercial lenders should receive training in Commercial Real Estate Lending. Commercial Real Estate Loans also make up a significant loan class in a portfolio. This seminar will provide training to handle these more complex loan requests.
This is a basic underwriting seminar designed to improve loan decision based on a greater understanding of underwriting principals, legal issues and documentation requirements. We will evaluate credit worthiness, management strengths and the viability of the commercial real estate project. What You Will Learn:

Presenter:
Mark Tyrpin is senior vice-president for First Federal Bank in Quincy, IL. He has 18 years of banking experience including commercial lending, commercial real estate lending, loan rehabilitation and workouts. Prior to that, Mark was an investment banker for five years, specializing in municipal finance and trading. He teaches economics classes at area community colleges and conducts seminars on lending throughout the Midwest.
