Program Description:

Sometimes, you just need to step back and review the basics of lending. Making sure that you have a valid promissory note and an enforceable security interest in the collateral is the most important aspect of any loan. And, another important aspect is the proper collection of the loan. This webcast examines basic lending issues, including loan documentation, perfection of security interests, the collection process and basic bankruptcy procedures. We will cover everything from perfection to collection.

This 2-Hour Webinar Covers:

  • Proper loan documentation
  • Proper perfection under UCC Article 9 for various types of collateral
  • Proper perfection in non-UCC Article 9 collateral
  • Self-help repossessions
  • Legal issues in the collection process
  • Restrictions imposed by bankruptcy laws

Plus frequent question and answer sessions throughout this presentation.

Who Should Attend:

This webcast seminar is designed for the new lender, however, experienced lenders may find the review helpful. It also will benefit loan operations personnel, credit administration personnel, collectors, and attorneys.
